Realistic Frequency for Most Businesses

For many small businesses and online entrepreneurs, creating 1–2 new high-quality lead magnets per year is plenty. That could mean you have, say, one core evergreen magnet you update each year, and perhaps one seasonal or campaign-specific magnet you roll out for a big promo (like a webinar series, challenge, etc.).

If you’re in a very fast-changing industry (like digital marketing or tech), you might do more frequent updates or magnet variations to stay timely, but even then, every couple of months at most is usually sufficient.

Larger businesses with multiple customer personas might produce multiple magnets concurrently (one per persona). But if you’re just starting out, don’t overwhelm yourself. Work on making one truly excellent lead magnet and driving traffic to it.
